Jolie Ville Royal Peninsula Hotel & Resort Sharm El Sheikh

We stayed for a week in Jan 2109. It's a lovely place for families, with a big swimming pool, small aqua park, and a kids club where children can paint, draw, and swim. There's also a shopping area and beauty center. The rooms are very spacious and the hotel management kept them clean. Staff were helpful and respectful. Shows, nightclubs, and other activities ran almost every night. The main drawback was the restaurant, with limited food variety and repetitive meals.

The rooms are extremely spacious, with the space used well for comfort. The furniture is simple, and the mattresses were very comfortable. The pool and gym were great. The beach is far away, though easy to reach. It's rocky and really only suitable for snorkeling and diving. The open buffet was good, but had few items, and they need to offer more choices.

The rooms and grounds are impressive and luxurious, with generous space and furniture. Royal indeed, though so is Peninsula. These days the place seems focused on serving the Congress Center next door, and the service and food have declined over the years. It feels aimed mostly at conference participants, without the entertainment and luxury I'd expect from a vintage five-star hotel. The food has its ups and downs, but is usually on the down side. I also happened to find out that a shuttle bus goes downtown at 8 pm every day and returns at 9 pm. Nobody had told me about it before.

The green garden and beautiful, large room and bathroom made a great first impression, and the buffet was very big. But with all-inclusive, I was disappointed that not everything was included. The room had no free WiFi, the jacuzzi was broken, and the pool heater wasn't working, so the water was very cold. Dessert was nearly the same every day, including repeats of desserts already served many days, and it tasted old and bad. The beach looked nice but was pretty futile for swimming. It's rocky, with no sandy area, and the water gets deep. It might work for snorkeling or diving, or for sunbathing, but it's not good for kids. Almost everyone seemed disappointed with it.
