The hotel was good for what I paid when I stayed in 2012. Breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely friendly. I also liked having shops nearby, with reasonably priced burgers and chips for lunch, go-kart tracks next door, and a big cafe serving a wide range of things. The location was my one complaint. Getting into Sharm took about 10 minutes by taxi. A one-way ride cost 20 Egyptian pounds, though we sometimes haggled it down to 15 or, if lucky, 10. That was because one of my friends was Egyptian and could negotiate in Arabic.

The beach near the hotel is lovely, with beautiful reefs, but watch out for sea urchins and wear rubber boots. Back at the hotel, the food was very good, the pool was nice, and everything was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful too.
