You can feel the history as soon as you walk in, and the hotel has an authentic character. The bathrooms have been renovated very well, but the rooms need a complete renovation and management should pay more attention to cleaning them. The food is average for variety. Special thanks to Osama Arafa ،Nasser Salah and Ayed Zeidan at the main restaurant for their great service and hospitality.

The building is lovely and has a historic feel, which is why we stopped for breakfast after being told it was a must-see. They confirmed they could make us a simple breakfast quickly, and everything seemed professional at first. Then our order was forgotten. After about 40 minutes, we asked and finally got some mediocre pastries. They'd also forgotten our coffee, which took another request and 15 more minutes. While other people were still eating, someone took away a drink we'd only half finished without asking. The terrible service threw off the rest of our day's schedule. I don't see how this place could call itself a five-star hotel.

We had a relaxing weekend at this hotel, with its vintage style and historic feel. The food was exceptional, and the service was excellent. We came across the place by chance and will definitely come back. Fayoum is quite small, and Tunis village is cosy. Many thanks to Helena for her wonderful coordination and all her efforts to make us comfortable. See you again soon!

The rooms were nice, each with a cute little terrace, but the bathrooms need renovating and hygiene overall could be better. Staying in this historic hotel was quite an experience, with its old halls full of historical artifacts.

The lake-facing units have a great view, and the food is very nice. The place feels historic from the moment you arrive, and the people are very friendly.
