My three friends and I stayed at Pension San Anton twice while walking along the beautiful coast of Galicia. Of all the pensions, rooms, and apartments we tried, this was easily the best value and a cut above for everything we needed. Sandra and her daughter Alba were superstars, and everyone was so friendly. Huge thanks to Fernando from the playa major bar for finding the place and bringing us there. Big thanks to them all. Sandra and Fernando are in the photos.

The hotel is lovely, and the area around it is beautiful, with tourist attractions only a short drive away. Our room was small but did the job, and there’s a nice beach nearby. The restaurant serves high-quality tapas and seafood, and at the bar we had local beer and a very nice white wine made by the hotel family. The only trouble was finding the hotel because the address on booking sites is wrong. They know about the problem and say they email confirmed guests the correct address, but we never received that message.

The apartment was practical and comfortable, and parking was easy. The area is beautiful, the people are wonderful, and the restaurant serves good food. Mariscade is absolutely recommendable. We’ll come back.
