The hotel’s basic condition raised serious concerns for me about hygiene, safety, and decent accommodation. I believe the relevant authorities and the platforms promoting it should evaluate the property, and I strongly advise caution before booking. The building looked badly deteriorated, with plaster coming away and visibly damaged finishes. The overall state seemed to reflect years without proper maintenance, well beyond what I’d consider a modest hotel. In the room, furniture was old and damaged, and cleanliness was seriously lacking. There were cockroaches and ants. The bathroom counter was swollen from moisture and showed clear signs of mold. The doors looked improvised, patched with panels, which raised further questions about safety and upkeep. At night the room was very cold, making it impossible to rest properly. Basic thermal comfort shouldn’t be treated as a luxury. Breakfast also fell below acceptable standards, with limited choices, poor organization, overcrowding, and hygiene that seemed questionable. The dining area gave the same impression of little concern for quality. The pricing policy was another problem. Even basic things like the TV remote and use of the safe cost extra. Practically every service was charged separately, without a standard of accommodation that justified those added costs. I’m not making an unrealistic demand, just expecting minimum standards.

The staff were really friendly, clearing tables quietly and with a smile. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, with the expected choices, and I’d recommend the freshly made omelette. Lunch was very good each day with plenty to choose from. Dinner was similar but seemed to offer less variety. The bar was open all day, with San Miguel as the house beer and a mild Pinot-style wine. The apartments are huge, each with a large veranda. They’re a little old-fashioned, but cleaned spotlessly and regularly, with plenty of fresh towels. The pools are lovely; we chose the large one because we like a proper swim. There are a couple of nice places to eat nearby. Masala was very good, while el delphin felt a bit claustrophobic to me. We mostly enjoyed the atmosphere at the malibu, with its live music. A nice walk to Laura's cafe is worth it for excellent coffee under the gentle shade of trees.

We spent a week here with the family. The apartment was basic but clean and spacious, and although it had no air conditioning, we didn’t need any. The whole complex could use minor maintenance here and there and a fresh coat of paint. This isn’t a 5-star place, so don’t expect one. What you do get is a buffet with good choices, and we never went hungry or had a bad meal. There are three terrific pools, a good selection of all-inclusive drinks, and very friendly, helpful staff. If you can live with the small drawbacks, you’ll be fine here.

We’ve just got home from a stay here with my partner and our 10-year-old daughter, and we had a wonderful time. The food was really enjoyable, our room was lovely and clean, and the staff were great. We can’t say a bad word about the hotel. Bars, restaurants, and supermarkets are only a few minutes away. We’ll be coming back in September, though we’ll book directly with the hotel. Thanks for a lovely time!

The ocean view and convenient location were good, and breakfast was basic but fair for the price. Staff were friendly in everyday interactions. But the studio hygiene was the serious problem. Cockroaches were there from the first nights, and partway through the stay I found several dead insects inside the ceiling light right over the bed. I also woke up to one on the bed. I kept seeing them on the walls, in the bathroom, and on the ceiling. I raised it at reception and sent messages through Booking.com and by email, but got no written replies. Whenever I asked to speak to the director, I was told he wasn't available. Booking.com later told me in writing that they had tried to reach the property during the escalation and received no response. I had stayed here the previous year without any problems, which is why I came back. This stay and the lack of follow-up were far below what I consider acceptable. I've filed a formal complaint through the official “hoja de reclamaciones.”
