Garajonay I

We had fun and would stay again. The rooms are big, the area is well located, and the balcony is massive, though the bottoms of our feet turned black from it. The bathroom smelled horrible at times, so we had to keep flushing the toilet. There's no bar, and reception closes around 5. Four stars rather than five because of the bathroom smell.

In January, there were always sunbeds available at the pool, whatever time of day we went. The staff were really, really helpful, and the place is in a quiet, well-located spot with a nice view from the balcony. The main downside was how dirty the room floors and dishes were. We had to wash the dishes before using them. It would also be helpful to have basic kitchen supplies like hand soap, dish soap, a dishcloth, and table cleaner, so guests don't have to buy everything themselves. I'd come again! :)

The sea view was great, the pool was clean and well maintained, and the staff were very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the place. The apartments are very nice, but we missed a few things like a washing-up brush, scissors, and bowls. They clean every day, though I wonder if they actually clean or just change the towels and empty the bins.

We were in Apt 406, which was clean and had everything we needed. Staff at reception were helpful whenever we needed them. Restaurants, bars and the beach are all walkable, but the apartment is far enough from the busy areas to stay peaceful. There’s a supermarket just down the road, and a taxi from the airport took about 20 minutes and cost 25 euros. There are quite a few steps up to the apartments, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue. It worked perfectly for us, and I’d happily recommend staying here.
