H10 Gran Tinerfe - Adults Only

The sea-view room had a lovely sunset view from our balcony, and we had a great couples’ holiday. The hotel was beautiful and clean, with super friendly staff. The buffet was fantastic and changed every day, and even the poolside bar snacks were great quality. All inclusive also came with two extra restaurant visits, but you need to reserve them when you arrive. There are no poolbed reservations before 10h. That rule should be on the flyer, as we went to breakfast without knowing and were only 20 minutes away. The evening entertainment seemed aimed at a certain age group, and as someone in their 30s I sometimes felt very young.

Breakfast and dinner were fresh and excellent, with plenty of variety so they didn’t get boring. We tried asking for help with food allergies, and they were able to manage them. The pools were nice and the water warm. There are lots of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby, plus lovely walks to take in the evenings. The staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean, though perhaps a little dated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The sea view was nice, and I’d recommend booking a sea-view room. I really enjoyed staying here.

The staff were brilliant and gave really good service, which is the hotel’s best asset. The food was okay, nothing bad but nothing special either. The building dates from the 1960s and has been modernised well, so it feels as fresh and contemporary as they could make it. Being right on the seafront is great, but the immediate area feels rundown and tired. The mid and north parts of Costa Adeje are much nicer. I could recommend the hotel itself, but not the local area. Sorry, guys!

The location worked really well for us. You can walk toward Las Americas or Adeje, and there are bars, restaurants, shops, entertainment and the waterpark nearby. We stayed in Playa Paraiso last October and wished we hadn’t, as there was less to do outside the hotel and the walks weren’t as nice. This was our second visit to the gran tinerfe, and we had another lovely stay. Our upgraded room was roomy and modern, had a good view, and was near the pool. Thanks to Jennifer for keeping it clean. There was lots to choose from at meals, including fresh meat, fish and vegetables. We especially enjoyed English food night and the Chinese food. Lunch at the beach restaurant, looking out over the sea, is always nice. Drinks were good too, with a solid choice of spirits and bottled mixers, so no flat Coke. We skipped privilege and the à la cartes this time, as we like to eat out a few times as well. Everyone on the team was friendly and made our stay feel special. The hotel entertainment was great. Thanks especially to David at the bar, Julian at the pool bar, and Yadary, our waitress. We’ll definitely be back.
