The location was spot on, just a stone’s throw from the beach, loads of shops and restaurants. We had a nice private balcony for sunbathing or watching people go by. The rooms are pretty basic, but they had what we needed: a shower, toilet, fridge, air conditioning, safe and hairdryer. The coded doors were handy, so there were no keys or keycards to lose. It was kept tidy every day, and WhatsApp made communication easy. Very happy with our stay, and I’d come back and recommend it.

The noise and the lack of follow-through from the owner made this a very frustrating stay. My room was right by a bar, and the music at night made it hard to sleep. I was told I’d be moved to a quieter room after I raised the issue, but it kept getting delayed. In the end, the owner stopped answering my calls and ignored my messages. The location may be convenient, but the noise and poor communication affected my experience badly. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want quiet or reliable support.

The people running this place were a pleasure to deal with and really helpful, including arranging taxis for us. We were in Tenerife for Cheltenham festival week and had a hard time finding somewhere to stay, so I found this on Air B&B. It was first class for what we needed, since we weren’t planning to spend time in a hotel. We’ll be back next year.

It’s close to the beach, and our 4-day stay was more or less okay, though I’d check carefully that it suits you for a longer holiday. The room and bathroom were very small, there was no TV or bathroom hairdryer, and the WiFi didn’t reach some parts of our room well enough to watch things online. There’s no car park, and parking on nearby streets was impossible. In January we finally found a spot about a 10-minute walk away, and even that took luck. I can’t imagine how it is in high season. There was nowhere to wash clothes and hang them to dry. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs: people coming and going slammed the entrance door or talked loudly, and you could hear everything. That last part was down to people’s manners, not the hotel.

The only upside was being near the Rangers pub. The water didn’t work, and the smell from the people staying there was unbearable. We were lucky to go to the waterpark one day and shower on the flume. I don’t have much else to say, this place was really bad.
