We had our one-year-old and our 12- and 14-year-olds with us, and the hotel was really sweet and accommodating with the whole family. I saw a review below that didn’t care for the food, but we thought it was wonderful. The fresh fish, steak, vegetables and fruit were all delicious. We’re from Texas and pretty picky about steak, and theirs was really good. The adults and kids all approved.

We’d visited the sister hotel earlier in the week, then came here for dinner. The dining area under the trees is charming, and the setting is stunning. Everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented, with delightful staff and impeccable service. Our meals at both La Fontenille Menorca hotels were the most memorable dining experiences of our island trip. We’re looking forward to coming back.

Menorca’s countryside gives this place a rustic elegance, with a lovely mix of good taste and refinement. Nature is very much in charge here: you reach it by a goat path, and the sunset from the dramatic cliffs is beautiful. Some of the island’s most stunning coves are just a short distance away.

Dinner was delicious, and the friendly team got the service just right. The setting is beautiful too. One small annoyance, there were so many mosquitoes, so bring repellent.

I told the hotel before arriving that I was an independent blind traveller, and it caused no problems at all. The kindness, patience and attentiveness of the staff made my stay far better than I expected. This is a magnificent, peaceful hotel, and the friendly, caring staff reflect how well it’s managed.
