Casa Antonio

The short shaded walk from the house up to La Pena de Arias Montano leads to more wonderful views, and there are plenty of other walks starting nearby. Debby and Tony know Alajar inside out and shared lots of useful local information. We spent a few lovely days here in mid-June. The house is beautifully designed, furnished and decorated, and it has everything you need, including comfortable beds. Views from the balconies take in the rooftops and wooded hills, while at night you can sit under a sky full of stars in peaceful quiet. The traditional village has cobbled lanes and charming squares where locals meet for food and drinks. Alajar and nearby villages also have restaurants serving delicious local dishes. A serene hillside setting and a really beautiful home. Five stars.

The terraces have lovely views, and two of the bedrooms open onto their own terraces. All three floors are comfortable and clean, with a bedroom and full bathroom for each room. The kitchen and sitting room are on the ground floor. There are modern touches throughout, including electric blinds and good windows and doors.

The views from the rooms were lovely, and the location worked out so well. The house was spotless and everything seemed brand new, with nothing missing. It was even better than I’d expected. I hope I can come back soon, thank you.

The house is warm and beautiful, and it’s set up well for any season. It went well beyond what we expected. Tony and Debbie were so kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely come back. Best wishes!
