Hospedium Hotel Rural Venta Sant Jordi

I barely slept because dogs barked throughout the night. The shower fitting was broken too, which I discovered after I finally got checked in. I was cycling and had asked my support person to check in for me. The hotel already knew we'd arrive late, but my support person was asked for more than ID and had to install an app. The restaurant was nice, though extremely pricey for a budget hotel. It wasn't a comfortable stay.

There was no one on site to help, and nobody answered the phone. When I arrived, the place looked closed. Other people showed up and had the same problem. No signs or instructions were posted at the front, so I went around the back and found the accommodation entrance. There I found a sign with a QR code. It led to an app I had to install to check in, but the mobile signal was poor and the download was difficult. Once installed, the app asked me to upload my ID and hold my phone against the door handle. After a few minutes, the door opened. It also gave me an entry code, but that didn't work when I tried it. With no one answering calls and no staff around, there was nobody to help. Guests are supposed to have Wi-Fi in the rooms, but there was no password, so that wasn't usable either.

The food and service were great, and the location was super. We stayed at the hostel for three nights. It was warm and clean.

No service at all during my four days there. The sheets and blankets were dirty, there was no garbage bin in the room, and the shampoo bottle was tiny, about two inches. I checked out at 10 am but couldn't find anyone to hand the room key to. I didn't see any staff around to help the whole time.
