Las Chimeneas Zahora

We visited during Easter week in 2018, after a lot of rain, and everything around the cottage was green and lush. The weather kept shifting between rain, sun, and wind, but we still enjoyed walks, barbecues, reading, and more. Nature greets you each morning, just as the photos suggest. Agustín welcomed us within minutes and was always on hand with suggestions and help. He’s a real professional. Zahora beach is a five-minute walk away, either by a fairly rugged path or along another route that reaches the beach bar area around Sajorami and Kalima. We especially liked the nearby Saboy bar for its Moroccan and Cadiz-style menu, lively atmosphere, and live music. There’s a small shop about seven minutes away, and a Coviran supermarket with good prices at a campsite around a 15-minute walk away. Trash and recycling facilities and several beach bars are nearby too. It was all very peaceful. I’d recommend walking along the beach to Trafalgar and Caños de Meca, and visiting El Palmar beach, Conil, Vejer, and the other local places.

Agustín was very friendly and made sure we had what we needed. It’s a peaceful little one-bedroom house, with a lovely garden where you can sit and relax with a good book. 👍

We’ve spent many holidays in Zahora, and this was one of the most welcoming places we’ve stayed. Agustín and Mariló are wonderful. They make their home feel like yours.

Agustín was always attentive, and the location is great. The houses are cozy and spacious for three people. A 10/10 stay!
