Innside by Meliá Alcudia Hotel

Zaza’s warm, professional service at check-in was the highlight of our stay. His thoughtful attention really lifted the experience. We stayed in Loft 601, a spacious room with a balcony overlooking both the pool and the sea. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. INNSiDE by Meliá Mallorca feels modern and well maintained, and it’s only a short walk from the beach. Breakfast was excellent, and dinner was surprisingly very good too. I’d gladly return to this hotel in Mallorca.

The pool and outdoor area were beautiful, spotless, and full of thoughtful details. Our room was exactly as it should be, and the cleaning staff were amazing. Those parts of the hotel made our stay really enjoyable, even though the hospitality and dinner experience felt very different. Check-in took an extremely long time. We had a few things to clarify, and the staff were cooperative, but there were endless computer checks and back-office steps. At one point, a staff member took a phone call and patiently chatted about unrelated things while two people in the back office weren’t helping. After the call, the receptionist had forgotten which language we’d been speaking. The buffet restaurant didn’t match the neat, designed look of the rest of the hotel. Dying indoor plants and strange artwork featuring somewhat disgusted-looking faces made it feel sad and uncared for. The food also fell far short of other creative buffets. There were very few vegetarian options, fruit and vegetables came in huge pieces, such as tomatoes in quarters, and dinners were repeated a lot.

The hotel sits in a lively area with lots of shops, bars, and restaurants. We had a solarium room with lovely pool views. It was clean, well equipped, and definitely spacious enough. The pool area was nice too. It isn’t huge, but there was plenty of room for all the guests. Breakfast was good quality with a very wide choice, and the staff were friendly. We had a lovely stay.

The pool was lovely, with a good number of loungers, and the hotel had a nice feel to it. The rooms were modern and clean. There was a decent selection at the buffet, but the food wasn’t very warm and the quality was only above average. Drinks were expensive at dinner and in the bar. Bar service was poor too. Not once did anyone come over to take our drink order, so we had to flag staff down.
