A great place to stay.

The setting and location are wonderful, but that’s about all that’s going for it. The oven and TV don’t work, the baseboards are coming loose, and the mosquito nets are torn. There are loads of mosquitoes around the barbecue area and wasps by the pool. You’d better get lucky with your neighbors, or you’ll have problems. And be careful about having anyone come to visit, or you’ll run into trouble. The place is completely unmaintained.

For two people, a stay of two or three days feels about right. The pool is fine, and pets are allowed. There are lots of wasps and mosquitoes, though, so be prepared: the wasps get you at the pool and mosquitoes come out at night. Bring your groceries if you can, since the village has only the basics. And if you’re planning a barbecue, bring charcoal. The firewood they provide barely gets a fire going, maybe because it was July? We spent three days there, doing some sightseeing and relaxing.

The owners are lovely and really attentive, and the town is close enough to walk to. It’s a beautiful setting, very near Murcia, and a perfect place to get away from the heat. The houses are great, and the pool was spotless. We’ll definitely come back!
