The owner speaks English, which is not that common in small Spanish villages, and everyone was very friendly. It felt like being at home. The garden is fantastic, the prices incredible, and both the food and service were great. There’s a parking spot too. Highly recommended.

The vegan dishes were the only reason we stopped, since they’re advertised at the entrance, but the actual menu barely mentions them. There isn’t even any plant-based milk. I’m glad they’re trying to include vegan food, but the choices are disappointing beside the rest of the menu. We got a small plate of croquetas for 10€, while other guests paid just 5€ more for two plates, dessert and wine. That felt really unfair. Wouldn’t recommend it.

The setting is lovely, in a beautiful valley near Santillana, and there’s a nice garden with outdoor seating, a football table, and friendly staff. We tried the burgers, croquetas, parrillada, and mushrooms. They tasted nice, though the portions were small, and the vegan selection is limited. There wasn’t a vegan dessert, which was disappointing. Still, we ate well overall, and I appreciate that they offer vegan options, since Spanish restaurants generally have few.
