Posada Caborredondo

Begoña gave us excellent suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. We spent three pleasant nights in a very nice, clean house, well run by her and the team. The shared areas and garden were lovely, breakfast was excellent, and several of the region’s tourist highlights are nearby.

There’s a small restaurant within walking distance, though you’ll probably need a car for more choices or amenities. The B&B sits in a beautiful, safe neighborhood a few kilometers outside Santanilla del Mar. Begoñia runs a very comfortable place and is warm, communicative, and keen to make sure you’re looked after. The house is cared for with real love, and its sitting areas, porch, and grounds are lovely spots to unwind after traveling. Our room was spotless and practical. Breakfast was delicious and generous, with both hot and cold options. If you’re cycling, Begonia has a locked shed to keep your bike safe and dry.

Begoña made our two-night stay in September 2023 just perfect. The house is in great shape, the decor is lovely and comfortable, and breakfast is filling and delicious. It’s a fantastic base for a holiday in Cantabria. We’d come back without a doubt.

Miguel and Gema made this stay special from the start. Miguel’s suggestions for plans, routes, and excursions made us love Cantabria, and Gema greeted us each morning with a smile and cakes she’d made herself. We’re grateful to them both for making our nine days at “Posada Rural Caborredondo” such an incredible experience. The location is a great base for exploring different parts of Cantabria, in the Caborredondo district, under a 10-minute drive from Santillana and right by the road to Comillas and San Vicente. It’s a beautiful, tastefully decorated country house with a large garden and a spectacular porch, perfect for unwinding with a beer after a busy day of sightseeing. The rooms have bathrooms, are perfectly conditioned, and have very comfortable beds. The whole house is impeccably clean. It’s cozy too, and definitely a special place to stay.
