Smoke from some kind of tobacco was noticeable, and it got stronger whenever the bathroom fan was on. But the main problem was the noise. My wife and I woke at 4:45 a.m. to people talking loudly in the corridor, then carrying on in the next room. Music started too, so I went over and explained they were disturbing us and that our child was asleep in our room. They apologized and turned off the music, but kept talking loudly and banging on the walls. I called reception. The person who answered said he’d look into it; when I called again because nothing had changed, he said he would “fix it.” The group moved into the room next door, where loud music and talking started again, along with the sound of balloons being filled and popped. I called once more and said this was unacceptable: I’d paid for a night’s rest and couldn’t get it, and wanted to make a complaint. All I got back was “ok.” The noise carried on past 8 a.m., and we couldn’t sleep any longer.

The breakfast was very good, and the hotel was clean. The staff were friendly too.

I don’t have any real complaints. My company placed me here, and the room was clean, with a very nice bathroom. The location was great, and the staff were friendly and polite, which made the stay pleasant. There’s also a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you don’t want to go out. My one suggestion would be to add an electric fan to the room, since you can’t control the air conditioning or the temperature.

We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years, but we’re cancelling our two future bookings for later this year. The reception staff have generally seemed unwelcoming or unhappy in their jobs whenever we checked in, except on our most recent visit. The breakfast isn’t good. More than once, after paying for it on arrival, we went down and were told we hadn’t paid. We then had to go back to reception so they could call the restaurant and confirm it, which was embarrassing in front of other guests. Online check-in is also so complicated and time-consuming that we just show up and check in, with the delays that involves. There are very few restaurants within walking distance, too.
