Diana, who greeted us, was very kind, and the apartment was a good size in a handy spot just off the centre, close to the TRam for beaches around the city. I'd booked four nights, but our stay turned into a terrible experience. We arrived around 6pm, and the smell of urine made it impossible for me to sleep the first two nights. The people managing the apartment said the air conditioning had caused a problem and the wall was soaked. They came with spray paint, which only stained what I'd left on the night stand. I told them the room wasn't fit to rent because the wall was mouldy and rotten, but they offered no solution beyond a refund starting the next day. Since I'd reported it at 9am, we wanted to leave and get our money back for the rest of the stay, but their offer meant sleeping there again or losing that night's money. The sofa bed mattress was about two inches thick and stained, and we also found a cockroach. It's a renovated old flat. One apartment has a terrace, while the other has only a small balcony facing backpatios. The photos don't show that many old features, including the kitchen and wardrobe, have simply been painted over.

It's central and spacious, but the apartment is very noisy, with noisy neighbours. You can hear everything through the single wall, even though the site says it's low-noise. The host's service was poor.
