El Palmeral de Madaria

We had a lovely four-night stay here. Carlos at reception was helpful and accommodating from the start, and all the staff were welcoming and friendly, as were the resident cats. The place is well maintained, with a pool, jacuzzi, and BBQ area, and the surroundings are calm and beautiful. El Palmeral is in a quiet area with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. There are two buses about five minutes away on foot, and they take around 30 minutes to reach the city centre. For coffee, though, you’ll need to walk 15/20 minutes. My boyfriend and I would definitely recommend El Palmeral de Madeira to anyone visiting Alicante.

The rooms had plenty of space and what we needed to cook or relax, and there are restaurants and big supermarkets within walking distance. We also enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, barbecue area, terrace, and easy parking. The palm trees and greenery are really well cared for. I stayed a few days and found it peaceful, with fresh air and a lovely break from the city.

Carlos was kind, easy to like, and made sure we had what we needed. We spent four nights in September 2024, and the one-bedroom suite was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with a kitchen, washer, and balcony facing the pool and palms. A tall brick wall surrounds the property, but the dense grove hides it from view inside, so the place feels far away from everything. There’s a secure gate and underground parking. It’s near shops and restaurants, with the beach and historic spots a short drive away, and the airport about 15 minutes away. The roads in are wide and clearly marked. The hotel is close to everything we wanted to do, yet tucked among beautiful palms. A great stay, and I’d happily come back and recommend it.

Thank you, Carlos and team. El Palmeral has everything needed for a holiday, and the beach and Alicante centre are just 5 to 10 minutes away by car. I always enjoy staying here. It’s quiet and a good fit for families or anyone wanting somewhere to unwind.
