We were lucky to find a reputable hotel in Alicante after this awful experience. The apartments are tiny and vile, with rust and limescale. The photos used to advertise the older units are apparently from the new apartments opposite. The customer service was horrendous, and they lied. The place feels like a complete sham, and the bad reviews are true. They should be reported for mis-selling properties. Please book somewhere else and don’t waste your money with these conmen.

We lost over 200 euros, got no refund, and were never given a door code or keys. I can’t recommend this place and would avoid it. We were due in Alicante for a family reunion the day after the tragedy in Valencia involving food. We couldn’t have known that trains and buses would stop, leaving us unable to get out of Valencia. We wrote to the owner and asked for understanding and a refund for at least one night, but they wouldn’t make an exception. Business is business, I suppose, even at a time when people might help each other. Some of my family did reach Alicante from another part of Spain, so I offered the apartment to my mother. The owner requested her documents, which I sent, then asked for a deposit of about 200 euros despite my having paid the full apartment price. Then they asked for the card number and expiration dates, which looked like a scam. We lost the money and never got access.

The building looks very nice from outside, and the location is very good, but I wouldn’t recommend renting here. We booked two nights and were left homeless overnight in Alicante because the entry instructions weren’t clear and the code they gave us didn’t work. At that late hour we couldn’t find another hotel. We called repeatedly to sort it out, but they ignored us. In the morning, the owners didn’t apologize or acknowledge that we’d been left without accommodation. They kept saying it wasn’t their fault, then stopped replying when we asked for a refund. We still hope they’ll do the right thing and return the money, since they didn’t give us access, but they haven’t yet. Truly one of the worst travel experiences I’ve had.

Great host, and good bars and restaurants nearby. A lovely place to stay in Alicante.
