We booked Hostal Milan in February for a May stay, then our reservation was canceled without explanation just two days before check-in. The only message said, “We cannot accommodate you.” I tried twice to get an explanation, but they never replied. Thankfully, Booking.com handled it professionally and kept communicating with me. I definitely wouldn't recommend this property. You could be left without a place to stay at the very last moment.

For the price, the quality was worth five stars. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The sink is small, but fine for brushing teeth and washing hands. It can get cold because they don't provide a duvet, but I still liked it here.

After arriving in Alicante, I waited patiently for check-in, having been up since 2am. Check-in time had already started, but the door was still locked. Only after I asked why did they cancel my booking. So unreliable and unprofessional. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.

I booked this hostel two months before my trip to alicante. Then, five days before, they emailed to say my room wasn't available. Five days! The room was still listed online, but at a higher price. Canceling through booking.com that close to the trip is crazy. They were really bad about it and never answered my emails or calls.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I booked well ahead, but the host canceled at the last minute without giving a clear reason. They were unhelpful and poor at communicating, and we had to find somewhere else with very little notice. It caused a lot of stress. I wouldn't recommend this place, it's unreliable and unprofessional.
