Really nice and clean, with a perfect location. It was very quiet and felt completely safe 💯☘️

The location was good, and the receptionist did take the time to show me where the taxi station was after we used Google Translate. I appreciated the effort. I stayed twice during one trip, and I wouldn't come back, though it was manageable for a few hours of sleep. The shared bathroom wasn't clear when I booked, and I wouldn't have chosen the place if I'd known. The bedding disappointed me too. My room smelled strongly of bleach, had no air conditioning and was uncomfortable. The bathroom and room walls were dirty, and there was hair and mold in the shower. Drilling in a nearby building ran from 8am to 9pm, though I guess I was unlucky with the timing. The staff don't speak English.

We booked a queen bed and a private bathroom, but were given two single beds and a shared bathroom. The man at the front desk was rude and no help at all. He didn't speak English or any language we spoke, and said the incorrect Booking listing wasn't his problem. The bathroom was filthy. There was always a dirty mop left there for the shower, which was so clogged that a shower longer than *2* minutes flooded the bathroom and hallway. The floors were dirty, with dead mosquitos and blood on the walls, and there were beer caps under the bed. The sheets felt like plastic. The shared air conditioning was covered in mold, and we couldn't control its airflow or temperature in our room.

The reception person was very polite, and the place was clean and tidy. It's close to the beach, with restaurants just down the road, so you can pop out whenever. Definitely worth a stay.
