Casa Rural El Balcón De Tera

The owner was friendly and attentive throughout, and the rest of the house was nice, with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and four or five bedrooms. There are small tables in the garden by the entrance, where we enjoyed a very nice breakfast. The bathroom was the room's weak point, though it did the job. The walk-in shower was fine, but the toilet was tucked into a tiny separate space with a door and no ventilation. It barely had room for the toilet. I'd still give it five stars, though for the bathroom I'd say more like 9/10. The country house itself is quite nice, and I have no other complaints.

The room was even better than we expected, and we loved having a little garden where we could relax with a drink. It was peaceful, and Alex was such a sweetheart, always checking what we needed and making sure we were comfortable. He sent the location, parking details, and information about the area over WhatsApp, with lots of thoughtful little touches. We had a great stay and will definitely come back. Thanks so much for the hospitality. It's a pleasure to meet people like that.

The room felt a little shabby. The tap kept clogging, and the toilet cistern leaked and only worked about half the time. Maybe we were just unlucky with the room, since the whole arrangement had been put together at short notice. We'd booked somewhere else nearby, but it was cancelled for a reason we still don't know. The owner found us this place instead, and we're grateful they could fit us in just a couple of hours before we arrived. Everyone was friendly, the dinner was good, and breakfast in the little garden was excellent.

Tera is a charming, very peaceful village, just right for a relaxing break. The accommodation was comfortable, and Juliana and her family put a lot of care into making our stay pleasant. The service was excellent.
