Hotel Suites Albayzin del Mar

The only real downside for us was the parking cost. If you’re driving, you need to use the hotel car park, since street parking isn’t really an option, and I think 10 euros a day would be fairer. We’d still stay again. We’ve just returned from eight days and wished we could have stayed another eight. The hotel was beautiful and just like the photos, from the pool and gardens to the bar and rooms. It’s well placed for beaches, the Friday market and Almuñécar’s town centre, where we found the castle, old town streets, Roman ruins, gardens and plenty more. Every corner seemed to have something lovely and unique. The tourist centre garden is stunning, and the view from the castle is a must. The place was very clean, the staff were wonderful and helpful, and breakfast was perfect. Our suite was fully equipped for self-catering, and having a washing machine was an added bonus. We had a wonderful stay and the hotel was a great base for exploring Almunecar.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks were great. The hotel was beyond amazing, and my partner was blown away by it. We stayed five nights last week and honestly wished we’d booked at least ten. It felt like a fairytale, way beyond my expectations. Everything was wonderful!

We stayed in December as a family of four in a two-bedroom apartment. Everything was clean, well presented and truly exquisite, and the gardens and pool felt like a dream. I still remember those delicious breakfast muffins. Parking can be tricky to find, but it’s possible. One of the most gorgeous hotels I’ve ever seen.

The hotel and its gardens are beautiful, and the pool is terrific. Our children had a great time there. We stayed three nights in a clean, comfortable suite. Breakfast was good, with excellent coffee. The location is my one criticism. Sadly, Almunecar is a shabby, neglected and very dated resort town, with little to recommend it.
