Our family of five was left without a place to stay at the last minute, which was a really disappointing experience with Finca Feliz. We had booked a Yurt directly with the owners in November 2024 for 20-27 August 2025. They confirmed it by email, acknowledged our €375 deposit, and said on WhatsApp that everything was fine after we cancelled Airbnb. Then, just one day before we were due to arrive, they said there was no accommodation for us and claimed the booking had been cancelled through Airbnb. That wasn't true: our direct reservation had been confirmed and was still valid. In their final email, they refused to host us and admitted they'd given the accommodation to someone else. Only then did they promise to refund the deposit. We have the email confirmations, payment proof and WhatsApp messages. We will report the case to the Spanish police (Guardia Civil), the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) and the local tourism authorities in Andalucía. I also saw other negative Tripadvisor reviews from guests describing similar cancellations, so this seems to have happened before. Please be careful and make sure everything is clear if you book here.

Ivo was so kind and always had good suggestions for trips and places to visit nearby. The rooms were spotless, with a stunning view, and the whole place was beautiful, peaceful and quiet. We'll be back!

We really enjoyed our few days here, and we'd definitely come back. The owners speak English and were very nice and helpful. Loes and Gerben have made themselves a little paradise, and the Finca sits on a mountainside with far-reaching views across the valley from the terrace. The apartments aren't large, but they're quiet and have everything you need: air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a coffeemaker and a dishwasher. B., F. and H.

We couldn't have found a better location, and the host was the best.

The owner cancelled our reservation and wouldn't return the deposit. I reported it to the Spanish police. They tried calling the owner, but the phone was dead. Don't book here or you could lose your money.
