We planned to use Finca Gran Cerros as a base for exploring the region, but the apartment and pool were so hard to leave that we mostly stayed put. The four of us spent a week in the two-bedroom apartment in August and wished we'd booked two weeks. It's a special place to unwind, with gorgeous, well-equipped rooms, and Michael & Shaun were always happy to help with anything extra. From our patio, the views kept changing through the day and night. Our favorite was early morning, lying on the day bed with coffee as the sunrise came over the mountains and spread across the valley. Mesmerizing! Breakfast was delicious and different every day. We also ate at the Finca a couple of evenings and recommend it: the homemade food was delicious and beautifully presented. Michael and Shaun were perfect hosts, always willing to answer our many questions in person or over text. And I have to mention Bert the cat, who visited every day. I fell in love with his personality. We can't wait to return!

The two-bedroom apartment is beautiful, with everything you could possibly need and more. Shaun and Michael are fabulous hosts and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. Breakfast changed every day, and the dinners were delicious. Both were served on our private terrace, with spectacular views over the quiet countryside. There are lovely places to visit nearby if you can tear yourself away, though we were tempted to stay, relax and enjoy the peace and pool.

This was my third stay at Finca Gran Cerros, and it was just as lovely as before. I had the two-bedroom apartment in June 2025 and enjoyed every moment. It's such a peaceful, beautiful setting, and the hosts take wonderful care of you. Homemade candles and diffusers are among the little touches that make it feel so cozy and relaxing. I especially love the breakfast. It's different each day, always delicious and beautifully presented, and you can feel the care that goes into everything. If you want to relax, recharge and feel looked after, I can't recommend this place enough. A hidden gem in Álora, and I'll keep coming back.

I spent 10 days here and loved every second. The location is magnificent, and Michael and Shaun have created a wonderful space. The accommodation is beautiful and comfortable, the toiletries and fragrances are amazing, and the food is just as good. Then there are Michael and Shaun themselves, two warm, generous and kind people who make this the ultimate rural retreat. I can't recommend Finca Gran Cerros highly enough. If you're planning a trip to Spain, stay here. You'll love it, and I can't wait to return.

We loved it so much that we booked for next year before leaving FGC. Even Gracie, Rocky, Harold & Bert stole our hearts ❤️ The pictures on the website are lovely, but they don't capture the views. Walking through the gate and seeing the spectacular scenery gave us a real wow moment. It's a true escape from everyday life, with great accommodation, magnificent views, wonderful hosts and superb food. Michael and Shaun have perfected what they do, and I hope they keep sharing their hospitality for years to come. Sad to leave, but happy we'll be back in 12 months.
