At check-in around 4:30 pm, we found nobody there, although we hadn't been told check-in ended at 3:00 pm. The phone numbers posted on the door didn't work. We got in with other guests and found our key on the reception desk. Checking out at 8:45 am was similar: no one at reception and no instructions. The room was in rough shape, with loose things all over, including the toilet seat, shower drain cover, and hand sanitizer. There was no hair dryer. One of the supposedly clean towels had a long hair on it, and the bed linen had a hole. There's a lot that needs improving.

The staff's treatment of me was the reason for the one star. I went to the cafe for food and was ignored at the bar while people who arrived after me were served first. Once I was the only one left, the girl started sweeping. Then she stopped to serve a couple as soon as they walked up. I've cycled solo all over Europe for many weeks and can't remember being treated this badly anywhere. The hotel itself seemed pretty decent, if you could find it. Its only sign was on doors in front of the cafe, but they were folded open and the sign couldn't be seen.

A great spot for a casual dinner. The burgers were fantastic, including the veggie one, and the small plates, or raciones, were nicely prepared. They even had good tea, which can be hard to find in Spain.

The area around the hotel looks gorgeous, and I stayed there for business with nothing to complain about. Breakfast only starts at 9 in the morning, so keep that in mind. The staff were friendly, and the rooms felt very new and clean.

There's a cafeteria, and breakfast with tea and coffee is served on the first floor. The room was really nice, better than rooms I've had in some supposedly luxurious four-star hotels. A very nice place to stay.
