A young chef here makes the best arroz de montaña ever. The place has a soul, and they welcome you so warmly that you feel human. You can rent a room and stay for a few days too, which is perfect for remote workers. We’ll definitely be back!

We were so glad to have somewhere to stay for the night during a violent storm and heavy rain. It’s a cosy, welcoming refuge, and the people are very friendly.

The hosts were wonderful, kind people, and the dormitory was big and spacious. We had the omelette sandwiches, which were a real highlight, and the prices for food and drinks seemed fair. The location was great, and we had a wonderful time at Refugi Alos. Totally recommend it, especially for HRP hikers.

Aniol makes you feel at home, like you’re visiting a friend in the mountains. And the paella is good too!

There are vegan and vegetarian options, and Marta and Aniol are a lovely young couple who are very accommodating. It’s a great place to stay if you’re doing the HRP or simply need a nice rest. I’d definitely come back!
