We stayed in apartment no 4, on the top floor. It was fully equipped, with a very comfortable double bed and a second bedroom with two single beds. Rosa is a lovely and helpful host. There's free parking, a lift, and the beach is 170 metres away. This property is different from Hostal La Mar, which isn't at all the same standard. Stay with Rosa.

I'm leaving this review because we couldn't sort out our reservation. On the 8th, after the DANA storm warning, I contacted the accommodation to ask about cancelling our non-refundable booking. They said it couldn't be refunded but we could change the dates, and told us to submit a request through the Booking.com app. We did that and were told the dates could be changed. Nobody said we had to make the change immediately. Today they asked us for our ID numbers. When we explained that we'd requested a cancellation and had been told a date change was possible, they refused. They say Booking.com never notified them, but no one told us we had to change the dates right away either. Now they haven't returned our money or allowed a date change, even though on the 8th they said it wouldn't be a problem, and today we couldn't get the issue resolved.

A great spot for a couple's break. It's small, but clean and has everything you need. We did wish there were scissors and a slightly sharper knife. Recommended!

You can hear the train passing, but it didn't wake us up, and we're not deep sleepers. Nothing unbearable or bothersome. The rooms have just enough amenities for a few nights in Altea, and the location gets a 10. The only issue was the urine smell in the elevator. For the price, you can't ask for more. A 10 for value.
