Coffee was waiting in the room, and they topped up the water each day. The shower was good, too. It was easy to find the place and check in, with modern, clean, relaxing rooms and a lovely outdoor spot to sit with your coffee. You’re under five minutes from the old town and about five minutes from the promenade, with plenty of places nearby for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A really pleasant stay.

We had plenty of room for the three of us, plus a fridge and a safe, and the two-level room was beautifully decorated, clean, and relaxing. With our 14-year-old son, it can be hard to find good accommodation for all three in one room, so Maison was a great fit. It’s well placed for both the beach and Altea’s old town, and there were lots of dinner options. For breakfast we went across the road to the newly opened Nomad Hotel. We booked just one night, but we’ll definitely be back. Thanks to the team at Maison Salva.

Angelica made the stay especially great. She was professional, checked that everything in our room was in top shape, recommended places to see and eat, and asked how those suggestions worked out. You could tell she really cared. The rooms were large and well appointed, the beds very comfortable, and the bathroom was great. It’s also close to the sights and restaurants. An amazing place to stay.

I loved this hotel enough to leave another review here after writing one on Booking. It’s a lovely boutique place, in a great spot, with helpful, friendly staff. The price was affordable too. Highly recommend it.
