Boutique House Alzira

The television was a letdown: it had HBO and Netflix, but no regular Spanish channels, and using Netflix didn't work for us because the TV required a password and said it wasn't configured for ad-free viewing. My son lives in Alzira and gave me his Netflix password, but that still didn't help. Three dull nights with a big TV we couldn't watch. I'm never going back. We arrived on the 11th at about 10 pm, and couldn't get the heating to work. It was winter, the place was freezing, and the thin linen sheets made the first night feel like sleeping in a refrigerator. Getting around was difficult too. The entrance switch didn't turn on any lights, so we had to use a phone flashlight to find our way through the stairwell, kitchen, and living room. The staircase is narrow, with very high, steep steps. It's hard for older people to manage, and my partner went down on her backside because she was afraid of falling headfirst. I wouldn't consider it safe for children. The bathtub is so high that getting out while wet is a slipping risk. The bedroom and bathroom doors are narrow and have two leaves, which I kept forgetting when I got up half asleep to use the bathroom, so I bumped into one of them a couple of times. I don't usually leave reviews, but everything about this place seemed to work against us.
