Villa Real Club Apartments

The first two days felt like a great choice. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the facilities and relaxed atmosphere impressed us. Then the weekend changed things. The hotel seemed overbooked, with crowds at the bar and pools. A significant number of people appeared to be locals using the facilities, and the place started to feel like a day resort instead of the quiet getaway we expected. On Sunday there was also a children’s birthday party with over 60 kids running around the complex. That may be fun for some, but it wasn’t what we wanted for a peaceful weekend, especially at this price. The hotel itself is lovely, and we did enjoy the start of our stay. We just wish we’d known in advance that events are held there and the facilities are open to the public on weekends. Had we known, we probably would have picked somewhere quieter. The price per night wasn’t cheap, so having no access to the facilities over the weekend was a major disappointment.

The food was so good that we had dinner at the restaurant four times during our two-week stay. The bar and restaurant had a great vibe, and every staff member was kind and welcoming. The pool area was stunning and super fresh. It’s only a quick three-minute walk to the beach, and we’d love to come back to this gorgeous place.

The VRA team made our Mallorca vacation just perfect. My only regret is wasting our last three days at another hotel. This apartment hotel is a true gem, and while I’ve read reviews saying it gets crowded with locals at times, don’t let that put you off. I’d rather meet joyful Spanish people than rude tourists at some horrible resorts. I understand the hotel manager needs the extra income from outside visitors to keep the place going and available to tourists like us who look for smaller places. The vibe was fun. The kids had other kids to play with, and we got the genuine Mallorca flavor we came for. It’s fresh and cool, the rooms are spacious, and everything feels thought through and cared for. Even the cleaning scent is to die for! I’ve never had better service in a bar or restaurant in Spain. The kitchen smashed it. We’d sit down and have drinks in a minute, food in ten, and everything we tried was tasty every time. We’re a picky family, too.

There’s a beautiful beach and a famous restaurant right next to the apartments, and free parking is available nearby. Our rooms were very clean and well equipped, and perfect for the price. We didn’t have breakfast, though it is offered, and the staff were extremely friendly, providing anything we asked for. Our one complaint was the soundproofing. If other guests are loud at night, you may hear them.
