Elba Sara Beach & Golf Resort

The entertainment team made this stay enjoyable for us. They cared for the kids and really connected with them over the 11 days, and the shows each night were fun for adults too. Ruben made amazing Sangria, and Gulia was great as well. The location is great, close to the beachfront. Food was okay, a little above average, with a different theme each day. Waiting staff were mostly friendly and helpful, though some could be rude. We stayed for 7 nights in Feb 2026 on HB. The entrance is grand, and we were welcomed with Prosecco at check-in. But we had ants in the room intermittently throughout the stay. In a hot climate, a few might be expected, and this wasn't our first time in the Canaries, but they were in every corner of every room, even on the toilet seat. On the second day we spoke to the reception manager, who refused twice to move us. We felt unheard. We asked for the room to be cleaned every day since we couldn't move, but that didn't happen, so we had to keep on top of it ourselves. Ants got all over the kids' tablets and suitcases, and we spent hours cleaning those instead of enjoying the facilities. On day 1, we were asked for anonymous feedback, but I left my details and mentioned the ants. Nobody got back to us, and no manager followed up or kept in touch about the issue. That's disappointing for a hotel that advertises itself as 4 star. I had and still have pictures and videos to show management, but the lack of follow-up is upsetting and makes me think twice about staying again. The entertainment team was by far the best part; without them, we wouldn't have enjoyed our stay. Management should take customers' feelings and experiences into account. Prosecco on arrival doesn't make up for poor hygiene and failing to follow up on complaints.

We were very pleased to come back to Elba Sara. This was our second stay, 11 years after the first, and although we loved it last time, we'd seen both positive and less positive reviews and weren't sure what to expect. The hotel is well kept, seems well managed, and has enthusiastic, excellent staff, especially the activities team. Food was consistently very good, and there was plenty of room around the pool, so no trouble finding sunbeds. Well done, Elba Sara!

The animation team were fantastic and looked after the kids so well. Over 11 days, they built a wonderful bond with them. Nightly entertainment was great for adults too and really made the holiday. Thanks to Jessica, Giulia X2 allesandro, aitor, Ivan, Ruben and everyone else. The food and service were amazing, especially youseff. We’ll absolutely come back to this lovely hotel with its wonderful staff.

We came back after such a good stay last year for our son's birthday, and had another outstanding time. The hotel is lovely, the rooms clean and the food exceptional. From cleaners to receptionists and bar staff, everyone went out of their way to make us feel special. The animation team made the experience especially memorable with all their effort. Thanks, Julia, Reuben, Alex, Ivan, Julia B and ALL the bar staff, you're superstars. We'll be back next year with more family. I almost want to keep this place to myself, but the staff deserve the praise. See you next year!
