The shared kitchen and refrigerator made it easy to keep groceries and put together simple dinners. The rooms and house have lovely natural decor that feels welcoming, and the owners were exceptionally kind. I especially enjoyed the peaceful setting and relaxing pool. A perfect 10/10, and I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Aranda de Duero. Highly recommended!

The pool was a real treat, and the whole place was kept in meticulous condition. We were seven, and from our very first contact the hosts made everything easy, from getting to the house to finding places to eat and enjoying the area. A fantastic retreat in the heart of Aranda.

Teresa was so friendly and attentive, and the house is right in the center with everything really well equipped and lots of thoughtful details. We even swam in December! A heated pool would be a real treat, but it was still possible to go in 😂 Absolutely fantastic, we’ll be back. It’s perfect!

We ended up at La Casa Ribera Maya, right in central Aranda de Duero, while looking for somewhere to stay before the Zurbarán Rock festival in Burgos. We were coming back from Madrid, wanted a rest, and had also hoped to see the pretty town of Aranda. Tere and Gonzalo welcomed us to their newly renovated home. It’s tastefully decorated, with an open kitchen that has every detail covered, plus a dining room and living room. The rooms at the back open onto a terrace looking over the garden and brand new pool. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Thanks so much, Tere and Gonzalo. We’ll come back to your lovely house, and I hope it’s still as well cared for. As guests, we should value being welcomed with such care and leave a place as good as we found it.
