A lovely place for children and picnics, with beautiful scenery and a dairy farm nearby. There's a small spot with a couple of tables, as well as the Regatxols fountain, wash house, and shelter built on an old pond. About a 5-minute walk uphill, you'll find the Regatxols icehouse and a small museum. They can be visited on a guided tour arranged at the tourist office, usually at 5:00 pm, lasting 1 hour and costing €2. It's 1 km from Ares. The road is paved but narrow, so take care and pull aside if two cars meet. The wind is noticeable in this terrain, and with the local climate I'd always bring a jacket, just in case.
