Apartamentos La Moraña

The pool area is lovely, and the bar staff are too, but the room was a letdown. There were ants in the kitchen cupboards, and the bathroom was grubby, with tiles needing replacement and regrouting. There was no soap, and the towels were small and threadbare. The beds were like camp beds with one small pillow, and there were very few sockets. The bedroom sockets had light switches that blocked an adapter. There's no air conditioning unless you hire a unit, and it only works with the window open, which made the room hotter. The TV remote also required a €50 deposit. Staff shouldn't enter rooms without warning when guests are inside. I opened the door to a woman who walked past me and put a leaflet under the phone without saying a word. I'd just come out of the shower and felt embarrassed. She could have handed it to me. I've since seen similar complaints on booking.com.

The apartments were lovely and clean, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic, about halfway up cardiac hill. This was our first stay at Morana apartments, but it won't be our last.

The pool area was a bit too quiet for my taste, but apart from that these are great apartments in a great location. I'd definitely recommend them and stay again.

There's a chilled atmosphere here, and no sunbed wars. The rooms and the rest of the complex were clean and tidy, and the staff were polite and friendly. It's in a great location. Cardiac Hill could be difficult for people with mobility problems, but otherwise it wasn't an issue.
