Puri’s warm welcome was a real highlight. She made us feel right at home, and the lovely surroundings added to our wonderful two days. The homemade breakfast cake was delicious, and the room and bathroom were spotless. We’ll be back!

The price felt far too high for what we got, and we won’t be coming back. We chose the hotel through Smartbox because it was close to Altamira, but the rooms were cold and the tiled floor was chilly. There was no hairdryer, and breakfast was meager, just a piece of cake without even a glass of juice. They wouldn’t accept card payments, and there were only two breakfast tables. At a nearby inn, we paid less for a much warmer welcome and a buffet with pastries, juice, and cold cuts.

Puri was delightful, and chatting with her was a pleasure. The room was simple, with lovely views, and breakfast was delicious. The village is beautiful, a good place to disconnect while still being close to everything.

The owner welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room. It’s a rustic hotel, and we slept really well. Santillana del Mar is 2 km away, with Torrelavega about 7 km away. There are restaurants nearby, and a karaoke bar around 600 meters away if you fancy an evening drink. We had a great stay.
