The location is close to the center. The rooms are okay, but nothing special.

For 60 euros, it felt like a night of terror at an amusement park. The room was like a panic room, the hallways belonged in The Shining, and the shower could have been straight out of Psycho. At night, there were noises like in The Warren File. Ideal for Halloween.

The room was spacious, with all the necessary amenities, and the mattress and pillow were comfortable. The hotel has clearly seen better days, though. Its old wooden window frames are hard to open and close, and the balconies are stained with pigeon droppings that can't be cleaned.

We arrived around noon after booking two weeks earlier, but the receptionist said the room wouldn't be ready until 1:00. He gave us a brief, if cryptic, brochure about what to see in Arévalo. Family issues meant we didn't stay overnight, but they kindly didn't charge us for the room. I'll stay at that hotel next time I'm in Arévalo.
