The patio garden was a real highlight, and the house was just 10 minutes from the entrance to the Bárdenas Reales, which is what we came for. We could park right in front, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We felt at home. The place was clean, with comfortable beds, air conditioning in every room, and a kitchen with all the basics. We were there for work but wanted the trip to feel a bit like a vacation. The owner and everyone we met in Arguedas had such warm, sociable energy, and they seemed to know when we wanted company and when we wanted our own space. ❤️

The location is unbeatable, and that’s the main reason I’d consider coming back. With a few small fixes, this could be a 10/10, but there are details that make it feel a bit neglected: the sink tap spins around, the sink doesn’t drain well, the kitchen drawer wobbles, the shower head won’t stay fixed to the wall, and some of the pans look pretty rough. We couldn’t use the terrace during our stay because of the flies. At night, dogs in a kennel several meters away barked ALL night long.

Juli and her partner really went out of their way when we had a small problem with the shower water, and they made us feel very welcome. Thanks to them, good people! The place is in a great spot for staying in the area and doing activities. It’s peaceful but still close to the town center. The rooms are lovely, the mattresses and bed frames were great, and the kitchen had what we needed. The garden and terrace were perfect, and the bathroom was good. The living room could use a bigger sofa, though, since the current one is very small.

We could set off cycling straight from the house, and it’s close to Senda Viva and the Bárcenas Reales route. The house was really clean and well equipped, with a lovely garden and very comfortable beds and pillows. We highly recommend it!

It’s a comfortable place with everything you might need, and it’s very near the Bardenas Desert, in the village closest to its main entrance. The price did cost it a star, though. I’d still highly recommend staying here.
