Hotel Norai

The hotel was in an excellent location, close to everything. I parked in a secure car park around the corner for 24 euros. I'd booked a balcony room through Booking.com, but was first given one without a balcony. The air conditioning didn't work, and a wardrobe shelf was broken. I spoke to the receptionist, who had changed since then; after checking my details, they confirmed I'd been given the wrong room. I was moved to another room with a balcony, and it was very good.

The room had mold throughout, smelled awful, and there was still urine on the toilet when I first moved in. The receptionist was insulting and disrespectful. This was the most horrible and disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. Definitely not recommended.

The room was filthy, disgusting, and stank. A terrible experience all around!!!

The location is the main thing this hotel has going for it, close to bars, restaurants, shops, and beaches. The rooms look better than they did on my visit seven years ago, and reception staff were all nice. Back then I had a great time, with nice rooms and a lovely breakfast served until 11. This time was a big disappointment. Breakfast was awful: the omelette looked off-putting, the bread wasn't very fresh, and there was nothing sweet. The woman working breakfast and the bar was incredibly unpleasant, the worst hospitality worker I've come across despite travelling a lot. Poor management, and a much worse stay than before.
