Apartamentos San Juan

We left a day early. The place might work for two, provided they fix the sewage smell, but I can’t recommend it for the four people it’s advertised for. There’s one closet for four, so there’s nowhere to put everyone’s luggage. We also had to keep the sink tap off and the bathroom door shut because of the smell from the drains, which made the apartment unpleasant. I booked expecting a double bed and two bunk beds. The owner says I misunderstood, but what we found was a sofa that might suit an Indian fakir. Calling it merely uncomfortable would be generous. It definitely wasn’t suitable for two adults. The apartment was small too, though that alone wasn’t the issue. The owner doesn’t accept reviews, and if you leave anything negative, she gets angry and starts advising you about economy and cleanliness. I don’t usually write bad reviews because I know they can hurt a business. I think this is only my second negative one, but this stay deserved it. I hope this helps. Cantabria has plenty of wonderful places to enjoy this beautiful land, and this isn’t one of them. Best regards.
