We felt at home, even though we weren’t. The fridge was stocked with food, and there were all the things you need when you’re away from home. The location, decor, and all the little luxury touches made it an amazing place to stay.

I’d say this is the best value for money in town. The house was welcoming, beautifully decorated, and in an idyllic central spot next to the Church of Santa María. It has three floors and no elevator, with three double beds and a sofa bed. The woman managing it was attentive throughout, making sure we had a pleasant stay. A wonderful base for seeing Laguardia and the surrounding area.

We came to stay at La Morada del Pintor for the Orbea Gravel Rioja Alavesa race, along with another couple of friends. The house was clean, comfortable, and pleasant, with lots of thoughtful details that made it feel like home. Alicia was especially attentive to what we needed. We were sorry we didn’t get to use the fireplace, as it wasn’t working yet.

We stayed one night with friends and were won over by the place. The decor felt luxurious and elegant without being too much. Even though it was Saturday night and we were right in the center of Laguardia, there was no noise to disturb us, and we slept like babies. A memorable stay.

A charming, beautiful place. We had a lovely time and it’s a great spot for a few days away.
