The Manor House

Right in the middle of the village, this is such a cozy, delightful hotel. The hosts have thought of all the little things, from coffee capsules to special hair towels. The rooms are beautifully appointed, too. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Manor House has fabulous amenities and a top location. I loved how the rooms are decorated, elegant but still cozy. The attention guests receive is above normal, better than a lot of 7Star hotels around the world. I highly recommend experiencing a stay at the Manor House.

Our room was splendid, with a sumptuous, comfortable bed, great towels and shower gel, and even a coffee maker in the bathroom as well as a kettle. It had everything, including perfect soundproofing, which we certainly needed with LaGuardia's nightlife running right along the street. It was on the top floor, but that wasn't a major problem, especially with the very kind, hospitable Terri helping us. The Manor House is a beautiful, historic place, but comfortable too. Walking in feels like stepping into another world of little luxuries, thoughtful touches, delicacy, and history. The main door, entrance, and stairs to the different floors are stunning, and the house is on one of the small town's central streets. There's a lovely terrace with a beautiful view from the window. We didn't use it much, though, since the weather wasn't particularly hot and my husband and I both had bad colds. On the second floor, the large shared living room has a television, coffee, tea, biscuits, and lots of interesting reading to help you discover the town and nearby area. The owner, Terri, was an added bonus. She welcomed us so kindly and made everything easy. Thank you so much. We wish we could have stayed longer, and I really hope to return to Laguardia and this delightful room.
