Campomar de Isla

I sat there for 25 minutes while waitresses passed by several times and ignored me. The place was almost empty, too. I eventually left without anyone serving me. The service was subpar, and I won't be back.

The location is great, practically right on the beach, and the man at reception was especially helpful. We were there for one night. Vegan choices on the menu were hard to find, but they made us a lovely vegetable paella, and tomato pasta was also listed. Maybe there are better rooms, but ours was very small, with all four beds pushed together for the two adults and two kids.

We spent 3 nights here on a school trip with 30 students, 2 teachers and a bus driver, and it was a WONDERFUL experience. The hotel is lovely and just a 1-minute walk from the beach. The staff were truly kind the whole time and did their best to meet our needs. Food was varied and very good. The rooms were clean, each had a terrace, a private ensuite and a TV, and the WiFi worked well. Can't wait to return. Thank you, Luisa and Saul, for all you've done for us.

I've stayed here several times for work as a coach driver. The drivers' rooms are quite reasonable, excellent compared with some other hotels. Some have air conditioning and some don't, so bring a fan to be sure. Kids aren't allowed upstairs, which keeps the rooms fairly quiet. The food is okay to pretty good, and the coach parking is excellent, with a large parking area opposite the beach.
