Breakfast was amazing, and both the room and bed were comfortable. The staff were phenomenal, and the location was perfect, about five minutes from Rambla. Our room was warm when we first arrived, probably because the air doesn't run unless a room card is in the slot that turns on the lights. It had cooled down plenty by bedtime. We faced a park area, and the windows opened, so we loved sleeping with the sounds outside.

Daniel at reception deserves a special mention. He was kind, positive, and professional, the sort of person every hotel should have. He helped make our stay really pleasant. We were very satisfied: breakfast was excellent, the location was perfect, and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The rooms are small but well kept, and the staff were friendly. Entry is by fob, and there were free sweets on the entrance desk. The hotel is close to a metro and great value for the money. The surrounding area is a little ropey, though. The first street on the left as you leave is a hiding place for druggies and crack addicts. Can't fault the staff or rooms.

Daniel at reception was especially accommodating and made everything easy, from checking in to heading off. The reception staff were the friendliest, and the service was the best. Our room was clean and comfortable, with good facilities. It's well placed for exploring the city or making transport connections, and good value too. I'd happily stay again.

Nice reception and a good location, but be aware of extra charges such as the tourist tax. I had to pay 15.40 € per day for it. There's no fridge in the room either.
