The balcony was roomy enough to feel like another living space, and we enjoyed some lovely meals out there. Our family of five, four adults and a teenager, stayed five nights in one of the two top-floor apartments at Madera Y Mar. The views across Isla and Noja were fantastic. Inside, it was clean, modern, beach-themed, and had everything we expected from the owner's description. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen-living room. Bath and pool towels were supplied, freshly laundered. The pool area is practical and well maintained, and parking is available at the property. We had a rental car; walking down to Isla and the beach took about 10 minutes, and the uphill return took 15. We'd love to come back.

The heated pool has a shower and loungers, there's free parking, and radiators in every room. We were comfortable throughout our Thursday-to-Sunday stay, and the owner was warm and friendly. We asked about coming back, but our preferred dates were already booked, which is easy to understand given how lovely the place is. The apartment is quiet, clean, and welcoming, with great views and an easy walk to the town center, supermarkets, restaurants, ice cream shops, and several beaches. It's fully equipped. The large terrace has a table and chairs, clothesline and pegs, sun loungers, and a parasol. There are two bedrooms: one has bunk beds and a single bed, plus two wardrobes; the other has a double bed, bedside tables, a mirror, a wardrobe, and an iron. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, shower, paper, towels, and a hairdryer. In the kitchen you'll find a table and chairs, sink, dishwasher and tablets, washing machine and laundry tablets, scouring pad, dishcloth, insect repellent, floor cleaner, fridge-freezer, microwave, blender, cutlery, glasses, plates, a saucepan, and pans. The living room has an armchair and TV. We would definitely return.

Parking was easy, and the area was quiet with a good view. Still, we had a poor experience: the upper areas weren't clean, with lots of cobwebs, and we ended up getting rid of around 30 spiders. The bathroom also smelled bad the whole time.

We found the setting peaceful despite being only a few minutes from the center of Isla, and the views from the upper apartments are spectacular. The surroundings are lovely and well placed, and the apartments have a very family-friendly feel. The rooms are adequate rather than anything special, but they're functional. Highly recommended.

The terrace is bright and roomy, with loungers, chairs, and a big table. Inside, the decor is lovely, and the apartment is spacious, clean, and well stocked. It has kitchen utensils, detergent for both the washing machine and dishwasher, fresh sponges and towels, and a clothesline. There are electric heaters for cold weather, plus bath and pool towels. The location is beautiful, with beach and mountain views. The host is attentive and communicates well.
