The location worked well for me as a solo woman traveller. It felt quiet and safe, with a couple of supermarkets nearby and a lovely coastal path for walks. From the balcony, the sunrise views were spectacular, perfect with morning coffee. But over my 20-day stay there was no cleaning service, which was disappointing for the price. The agency also didn’t provide the extra bed linen I requested for the guest bed. The walls are thin, so neighbours can be disruptive, especially if you’re a light sleeper. Pool sunbeds cost an extra €5, which feels unreasonable. There’s no WiFi in the common areas, which can be inconvenient for remote work, and no vacuum cleaner was provided, leaving guests to clean without proper equipment. In my opinion, balcon del mar didn’t offer good value. The views and location were nice, but missing basic services and amenities, along with the noise, took away from the experience.

The ocean views are great, and the airport is only about 20 minutes away. It’s a clean, modern apartment complex with excellent pools and a bar, and everything was spotless.

The bus station is close, and the ocean views are lovely. The pool was being repaired while I was there, so the pool bar was closed too. It could be amazing once the pool is ready.

It’s my third day here and the pool bar is still shut, with the loungers chained together so we can’t use them. Yesterday, a badly mannered guy who’d only been here a while was shouting at people using the loungers, even though he was being paid. Shocking. I won’t come back.

The apartment was modern and clean, and the complex has a pool and bar. We had a great week here. Highly recommended!
