The Blue House

Breakfast is served in an apartment building about 100 meters away, and there’s free parking nearby. The place has several rooms sharing common areas. My room was spacious, modern and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The only drawback there was that the double bed felt small.

The manager was courteous and helpful, and for the price I could accept that the cleanliness wasn’t impeccable when the apartment became available. The apartment itself is basic. You’re close to the sea, a small hill and useful places like bars, restaurants, supermarkets and a bus stop. The downside is sharing a kitchen with three other apartments, including half of the refrigerator. There aren’t sandy beaches nearby, just rocks, which make getting into the sea difficult.

It’s a charming little building where you rent a room with a private bathroom, while also having access to shared spaces like the kitchen, washing machine, lounges and terraces. The terrace was a lovely place to spend time with a book, and I slept well. It’s close to the port of Los Cristianos, so it worked nicely for a quiet rest after a boat trip. Breakfast was at the owners’ bar nearby.

We really liked the cozy room, and the whole house was very clean. There’s a big living room, private courtyard and terrace, along with a spacious, well-equipped shared kitchen. We had breakfast at the hotel next door, where the coffee is delicious.
