The gardens are lovely, and the location is great, close to beaches and bars. Our balcony was massive, too. The rooms may be a little tired, but they're well equipped and absolutely spotless. We had fresh towels each day and the beds were made, and I can't fault the hard-working staff. Reception was always staffed and everyone there was really friendly. The pool area snack bar was fabulous, with great food and drinks, and it was spotless as well. There are large pools and loads of very good sunbeds. We had a great week with the girls, thank you!

The lifeguard was overly strict and quite miserable, but the pools were lovely, with one heated and one unheated, and there were plenty of sunbeds and sun. At the pool bar, the food was delicious, the drinks were plentiful and perfectly priced, and the staff were AMAZING! We'd just spent three brilliant nights here. The room was spacious, clean, safe, and well maintained, and the reception area and staff were fab. An absolute bargain of a place to stay. We loved it and will be going back!

The location worked really well, with the supermarket five minutes away and the beach about ten minutes away. I stayed for a week in January and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the heated pool was perfect. The staff were friendly, especially Tommy and the pool bar team. My only concerns were the lack of air conditioning for the summer months and Wi-Fi that was a bit hit and miss. It's a great hotel, and I'll be back at Whala!

Room 113 was clean and spacious, but sleep was disturbed every night. It sounded like the plumbing from the rooms above ran over the bedroom ceiling, so whenever someone upstairs flushed the toilet or showered, it was noisy. The location is good, including for the beach, if you don't mind walking. We didn't use the pool area until our last day. There were showers to freshen up before the flight, but nowhere to put clothes while showering.
