The roof terrace was a real plus, with lovely views and a pleasant feel, and the shared kitchen was clean and fully equipped. We also found the bed very comfortable, the bathroom spacious and spotless, and the room itself nicely set up with lots of lights. Water, chocolate, a mini panettone, shower gel, and shampoo were thoughtful extras. The building's common areas were particularly well cared for, and its location is excellent. Our three-star rating comes down to the room being at street level and the listing not making that clear. We booked through Booking, but the room photos included a mezzanine or first-floor staircase, which gave a confusing impression that it might be higher up. Since our room was on the ground floor, we couldn't open the windows or blinds because of the lack of privacy. We also heard plenty of cars and passersby, as well as other guests coming into the building. The terrace lights didn't work, and the electronic room keypad was unreliable. We had a nice stay and the building is clean and comfortable, but being on the ground floor made it much less enjoyable. In a room on another floor, this could have been an amazing stay. With a better room location, the place has a lot of potential.
